*D.R. Horton, Inc*. is currently looking for an _Compensation Analyst_in the Human Resource Department. The Compensation Analyst will research job requirements and evaluate job positions to assist management in addressing compensation ranges to be competitive in the area of employee compensation.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.*Other duties may be assigned.

* Perform accurate research to make informed recommendations regarding employee compensation
* Compare jobs against the industrys market information to verify competitive compensation offers
* Analyze compensation package trends to ensure industry competitiveness and employee retention
* Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy formulated by human resources management
* Review proposals for new or revised job descriptions to determine appropriate salary range
* Participate in salary surveys and analyze results to determine organization's market relationship
* Assist in the development and implement salary administration guidelines in a multi-state organization
* Review proposed salary actions to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies
* Research special compensation programs or incentive systems to support the organization's objectives
* Maintain and audit HRIS system to ensure accuracy of compensation data
* Generate and create reports maintaining accurate information relating to compensation in HRIS
* Update quarterly Turnover Report
* Review and maintain knowledge of company structure
* Remain current on industry trends and regulatory requirements including FLSA and other state wage and hour laws
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

*Education and/or Experience*

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
* Two to five years related Compensation/HR experience and/or training
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Advanced Excel skills
* Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to focus under pressure and comfortable meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to balance competing deadlines
* Working knowledge of employee benefits helpful
* Peoplesoft experience preferred
* Experience working in the construction and mortgage industry a plus
