WSP is currently initiating a search for an experienced Concrete Specialist with a strong background in Concrete & Earthwork.  This position will be reporting to our clients OCOEE, FLORIDA office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supervise Materials Technicians working in concrete
•Perform and / or coordinate Concrete Resolution Investigations.
•Supervise the Turnpike Concrete Independent Assurance program to assure it meets and exceeds FDOT IA goals by testing method.
•Check material availability for concrete mix designs submitted in Quality Control Plans.
•Provide technical support to Turnpike Construction, Maintenance, and Design as well as Construction CEI teams.
oWitness concrete repair and remedial work in the field when requested.
oInvestigate problems with cast-in-place, precast and prestressed concrete elements when requested.
•Perform and / or oversee FDOT Concrete process reviews to ensure compliance with specifications, procedures and quality control plans.
