The duties and responsibilities of a construction coordinator include the following:
- Utilizing Builder Trend Construction software to coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety management.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare project status reports and updates for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with regulatory agencies.
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues that may arise during the project.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other vendors.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans.
- Liaising with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of the project.
- Order and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Review contractor proposals to determine which contractor is best suited to perform the work.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is completed as scheduled.
- Supervise construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the Project Control Department on project management issues (planning, estimating, cost management, schedule management, reporting, etc.) to achieve value for money on the project.
- Prepare and complete various construction-related documents and permits.
This position can be remote or hybrid, depending on projects.
