A fast growing Los Angeles based residential and commercial construction company: our residential division specializes in high end architecturally designed residential construction; our commercial division specializes in commercial tenant improvement and public works projects in Los Angeles County.


Hiring for a Site Supervisor, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the day-to-day construction aspects of a project, both residential and commercial, from pre-construction through to close out, by providing the knowledge, skills and experience to run day-to-day operations on the job site. Top priority is field coordination, working closely with the Subcontractor(s) to ensure that they are always focused on quality and workmanship that exceeds industry standards. The Project Superintendent must ensure that the work is carried out safely, correctly, within budget and on schedule.

Procuring, scheduling and directing of work crews, equipment, subcontractors and materials. Must be able to construct projects in accordance with construction designs, plans and specifications. Must have the ability to read blueprints and ensure that project is constructed in accordance within project guidelines, on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both custom residential construction at the top end of the quality scale and also in commercial tenant improvement projects. We are seeking a knowledgeable team player. This full-time position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Specific functions may change from time to time.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and understand proposals, estimates, plans, specifications, schedules and related documents; analyzing labor, material, equipment and time requirements.
  • Understand construction drawings, specifications, permits and layouts.
  • Create and manage construction schedules.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Project Manager.
  • Complete accountability for onsite operations of specific construction projects from the Pre-Construction Phase to the Construction Phase through to the Project Close out Phase.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors and their time schedules. Maintain continual communications with Project Manager, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Work with engineers, architects, owners, vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Follow and enforce all applicable safety precautions and programs.
  • Must understand OSHA requirements in the construction industry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

  • Work at locations of construction projects as required.
  • Sit, walk and/or stand for 8+ hours a day as the position is primarily located in a construction site setting.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and balance occasionally. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • This position requires working in the indoor and outdoor environment
  • Must be able to work extended hours, over 40 per week, as required.


  • Minimum of 5 years experience as site supervisor managing the process of high-end residential construction and / or commercial tenant improvements. 
  • “Bags – On” experienced carpenter would be a plus. 
  • Proven ability to manage in-house crews and subs. 
  • Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial construction local building codes. 
  • History of communicating clearly and effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients, engineers and architects. 
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve project construction issues. 
  • Excellent communication & organization skills. 
  • OSHA 10 certification is a minimum requirement. Must have ability to acquire OSHA 30 certification. 
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including work, excel and outlook and project management platforms (for example, CoConstruct or similar) 
  • Must be able to read engineered drawings and blueprints, read grade stakes and use a level.
