Job Duties
This is a wage hourly position that is not eligible for benefits and can work up to 1,500 hours in a 12-month period from May 1st to April 30th each year.
Positionâs primary responsibilities will be performing custodial duties at the Halifax Residency Office, Survey Building, and Equipment Shop common areas to include cleaning bathrooms and floors, emptying trash, dusting, etc. Work shall be performed outside of normal business hours.

Minimum Qualifications
Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks that are manual labor intensive using cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to apply knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of chemicals and solutions. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and provide excellent customer service. Valid driverâs license.

Ability to perform heavy manual labor to include frequent standing, bending, twisting and lifting. Fingerprint-based criminal history record check, references, work history and DMV driving record will be verified prior to employment. Position may be required to work outside normal hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
