Cyber Security Liaison Officer

Parsons is eager to hire an experienced Cyber Security Liaison Officer with the desire to create innovative, practical, solutions to support cyber security and space projects. You will be responsible for the security and protection of key government space and missile systems.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Cyber Security Liaison Officer include the following:

  • Implements the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process on government systems, and recommends solutions for problematic issues.
  • Develops and implements information security procedures, system security plans, and POA&Ms for the operation of networked and standalone classified computer systems, as well as coordinating government agency approvals/accreditation.
  • Conducts periodic system self-inspections/testing, weekly system audits, media reviews and investigations of computer security incidents.
  • Consults on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified and CUI computing systems.
  • Performs information system hardening configurations and remediation.
  • Identifies and monitors security vulnerabilities, and security protection.
  • Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, operations, or equivalent field
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing, implementing, monitoring, and enhancing cyber secure systems based on DoD standards
  • Experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages
  • Experience using Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) security assessment tools
  • Experience with network vulnerability analysis and mitigation
  • Experience developing Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), and Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages for approval
  • DoD 8140.01 IASAE II certification (ie. CISSP, CASP, CSSLP)
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility

Desired Qualifications:

  • CISSP-ISSEP or ISSAP
  • Experience supporting the space, cyber, and intelligence communities.
  • Experience working in a high threat and austere environment
  • MS degree or higher in a technical, business, operations, or equivalent field
  • Military service (prior active or reserve status)

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
