WSP is currently initiating a search for a Database Reporting Specialist for our Sacramento, CA office.
 
Under the general direction of the Analytics Manager, the Database Reporting Specialist is responsible for providing technical solutions and overcoming technical issues in support of accurate and timely Right of Way status reporting. The employee works in the Right of Way Reporting group, which is part of the California HighSpeed Rail Authority's Office of Program Delivery, Real Property Branch.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the scheduled import and synchronizing of data between project databases
  • Performs weekly QA/QC of Right of Way project data and communicates errors to task lead
  • Provides technical support for improving data quality
  • Performs data back-up, recovery and archiving Exports report dataset and assists task lead with preparation of weekly Right of Way reports
  • Provides support for excel report development and formulation
  • Responsible for quality control of parcel impacts and importing of changes to ROW requirements

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years of experience with a focus on qualitative or quantitative data analysis; database management; principles and practices of data governance
  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics, math, business administration, or computer science or equivalent expenence
  • Ability to extract and compile various sources of information and large data sets from various systems or applications
  • Experince with using analytical techniques to identify errors and inconsistencies; recognize and solve problems quickly
  • Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiar with Right of Way processes
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
