About the Position:

Hiring for a Solar Project Developer, responsible to coordinate and manage the pre-construction development of solar projects, including management and coordination of all project due diligence, permitting, studies, interconnection and engineering activities, as well as managing all key project relationships from landowners, consultants, suppliers and internal teams through to utilities, governmental and regulatory bodies. The role will also oversee the development of distributed solar and storage projects throughout the United States, facing multiple internal and external stakeholders and providing exposure to commercial matters, and engaging with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment while remaining flexible and resourceful with a high level of professionalism.

Requirements:

3+ years managing the development of multiple solar energy projects simultaneously.
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field preferred.
Deep knowledge of navigating site development activities including, but not limited to, utility interconnection, permitting, land easements, and environmental studies, pre-construction and construction.
Familiarity with energy storage and solar technologies and related electrical equipment including vendors, products, technical specifications, utility and commercial standards, and applicable codes.
Demonstrated success of developing solar PV projects through the full project development lifecycle.
Ability to read contracts and extract key milestone dates for project deliverables.
Experience organizing and maintaining a project data room with key documents and constant changes.
Financial planning, budgeting, organizational and resource management abilities.
Procore or similar Project Management software is a plus.
