WSP is currently initiating a search for a Electrical Engineer for our Chicago office.  The Chicago office offers a wide variety of projects from high-rise buildings, museum exhibits, athetic arenas, schools, science laboratories, and medical buildings.
We work closely with architects and owners from around the world on large, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and energy performance of the built environment. 

Our Engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. WSP offers excellent growth opportunities.
Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
•Work within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
•Design of building electrical systems
•Design of lighting systems
•Design of fire alarm systems
•Building electrical load, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations
•Lighting illumination photometric calculations
•Circuiting and development of control schemes
•Site investigation and construction administration
