WSP is currently initiating a search for a Electrical Engineering Intern for our New York office.
 
This opportunity is available for a college student in good standing working towards an Electrical Engineering degree within an accredited program. The candidate will gain experience with design projects under direct supervision of the firm's leading professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • You will function as part of the design team and utilize engineering design
  • Learn computer and communications skills to assist in developing appropriate solutions for our projects
  • Candidates will learn basic principles of electrical system design and become familiar with Revit
  • You will perform basic engineering design and production and construction administration services

Requirements

<div><span style="color: #000000;">Minimum Qualifications:</span></div> <div> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Current standing as a Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering Undergraduate or Graduate program</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Knowledge of AutoCAD and producing technical drawings</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately</span></li> </ul> </div> <div><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></div> <div><span style="color: #000000;">Preferred Qualifications</span></div> <div> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Local candidates preferred.
