Equipment Support Manager

The Equipment Support Manager is an integral part of our warehouse by managing our company lease, fleet, and vendor accounts, warehouse inventory and sales, along with coordination and tracking of equipment flow between our warehouse and jobsites. The right candidate will have an interest in construction or fleet and warehouse operations, strong organizational skills and office management experience including a strong computer aptitude, and a desire to grow in their career. Training and advancement opportunities including Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) course completion through AEMP and CEM certification upon EMS completion will be provided. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all accounts payable by coding invoices to corresponding accounts
  • Coordinates between new vendors and accounts payable in setting up business partner accounts
  • Processes mechanic’s weekly payroll and submits documentation to AP
  • Ensures vendor accounts are paid based on payment terms
  • Manages all accounts receivable for the department, including preparing internal invoices, billing company equipment, fuel card transactions, and EZ Pass transactions
  • Obtains vendor and supplier pricing, quotations, and purchasing/maintaining stock
  • Manages equipment profiles and documentation through Excel, CMiC, HCSS, Holman, and the Vermont DMV. Including equipment charge rates, bill rates, cost information, lease extensions, lease buyouts, registrations, transfers, and safety recalls
  • Responsible for the financial performance of equipment assets to meet the business needs of assigned regional or project facilities, with direction from the Equipment Director
  • Maintains communication with local equipment dealers and appropriate vendors to ensure that dealer support, repair decisions, costs and warranty recovery meet expectations
  • Provides direct support and financial information to the Director of Equipment Operations during annual budget creation
  • Manages online company apparel storefront, along with maintaining vouchers and custom orders through outside vendors and assisting employees with orders
  • Monitors equipment cost reports for accuracy and financial status
