D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an*_Escrow Technician_***for theirFinancial Services Escrow Branch located in the SE Valley - Chandler, AZ. The right candidate willbe responsible for the timely preparation of all escrow files and ordering all information necessary for the closing of escrow transactions.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Ability to perform all tasks of the Escrow Receptionist
* Prepare earnest money receipts
* Prepare and send opening letters and thank you acknowledgements to all parties
* Order legal/vesting and prepare listing kits as necessary
* Order title commitments and distribute to all parties
* Perform general office functions as necessary
* Order payoff/assumption statement requests
* Open, sort, and file daily mail (unless receptionist designated to do this function)
* Open refinance orders
* Access and print reports as directed by Manager
* Prepare receipts for all funds received from Customers and/or lenders
* Obtain releases and other to follow items, if applicable
* Clear title requirements
* Monitor termite inspection requests and other required inspection information
* Send final thank you acknowledgements to all parties
* Answer Customers questions and/or telephone calls concerning the parties transactions; and answer real estate agents questions and/or telephone calls concerning the status of their pending files
* Update payoff/assumption figures
* Cancel files according to office procedure
* Perform additional duties as assigned
* Support and follow all Company initiatives and procedures
* Work overtime hours as requested in advance by the Branch Manager

*Education and/or Experience*
* Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* The employee should have knowledge of:
o Proper telephone etiquette.
o Basic real estate/escrow terminology.
o English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
o Typing/computer keyboard proficiency.
* The employee should have the ability to:
o Organize and prioritize tasks.
o Read, understand, and carryout verbal and written instructions.
o Recognize and solve problems independently.
o Ask for assistance when not able to proceed.
o Operate office equipment.
o Be flexible and able to move from task to task.
