WSP USA is currently looking for a FDOT Client Services Manager to provide leadership and direct efforts throughout the state in support DOT programs. The right candidate will have a demonstrated history of exceptional client and industry relationships and collaborative leadership skills, and model a high degree of creativity and foresight. This self-starter will work in collaboration with discipline leaders and managers throughout Florida with the support of Regional and National leadership to continue to expand opportunities with FDOT and work to achieve the firm’s overall market and financial success.  This position can be based in any location throughout the state of Florida with preferred locations being Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee.
This high visibilty role will  build upon,  further develop and implement a high impact strategy for this key client, with strong support from our well established and successful teams and offices throughout Florida and the region.


Job duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Engage with the transportation community through continued involvement with FDOT,  AASHTO,  AGC, ACEC, etc. to maintain strong WSP relationships with these entities in furthering project development opportunities.
  • Identify FDOT client growth opportunities throughout the state through new and existing markets and clients and drive growth initiative implementation
  • Represent firm through involvement in client and industry events 
  • Achieve and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships 
  • Mentor and develop staff
  • Provide transportation expertise for current FDOT client projects and strategic pursuits
Experience Required:
  • 17 years’ experience in US transportation & infrastructure sector
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Engineering Registration in Florida or other applicable certifications
  • Proven business development track record
  • Established client relationships with FDOT
  • Demonstrated knowledge of needs, opportunities, trends and areas for growth across FDOT districts
  • Understanding of inter-agency relationships and financing mechanisms
  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplined project delivery across market sectors
  • Effective leadership, communication, facilitation and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-dimensional organization in an open and collaborative manner
  • Appreciation for the importance of client relationships and delivery of client outcomes
  • Broad knowledge of and experience with technical and project delivery
  • Understands the trends in the transportation and infrastructure business 
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Ability to uphold workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
