Graphics Designer/Visualization Specialist

Overall Assignment Description:
This work is focused on key intelligence issues in the Office of Counterproliferation. The Graphics Designer/Visualization Specialist will be an integral part of AOC's analytic team in developing the look and feel of the offices products and presentations. The visualization specialist will interface and coordinate with the entire office and across the Intelligence Community to identify information needs and link these with available and innovative visualization and presentation methods. The contractor will receive focus and direction from the branch chief, and deliverables will be the intelligence reports and products defined by the office.
Duties May Include:

  • Provide 2D and 3D visualizations
  • Provide Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) support
  • Perform intelligence product formatting and presentation support
  • Provide technical expertise and support to portray, publish, and share the critical layers of data and key analysis of network nodes, vulnerabilities, and overall network structure.
  • Assist in the generation of the full range of NGA geospatial intelligence products using a suiteof professional graphic production and publishing software.
  • Utilize visualization software, e.g., Tableau to publish data
  • Experience of Microsoft Software tools

Skills and Experience:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Possess a certificate and/or Bachelor Degree or higher in graphics design or at least 3 years of relevant experience in graphics design in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Possess at least 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in full functionality of Adobe Master Collection CS5 graphic design software and designing products for print and web publication.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing creative visual and strategic solutions from scientific presentations, websites, and online productivity tools.


  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering visualization products of large datasets on software such as Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience with a multitude of visualization software packages
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing SQL queries
  • Demonstrated experience working with Spatial Database Engines (SDEs) and publishing web graphics

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
