Job Description


The Inclusion & Diversity Administrative Specialist works cross-collaboratively partnering with stakeholder groups to implement and administer inclusion and diversity communication campaigns that connect our coworkers and partnering subcontractors to our strategic inclusion pillars and organizational inclusion brand.
Responsibilities:
Implement and administer strategy for targeted communications to build engagement and support the Inclusion and Diversity brand within the organization.
Generate ideas for media outreach and pitch efforts to increase visibility and understanding of the Inclusion and Diversity strategy and brand.
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely campaigns. Manages the scheduling and posting of all content to relevant media channels.
Maintain Inclusion and Diversity fact sheets.
Ensures that all communication content meets branding guidelines
Deliver updates for inclusion update meetings
Administers programs to assist company with disadvantaged, small and minority business enterprises compliance
Coordinates regular training programs designed to ensure that company employees understand disadvantaged, small and minority business enterprises requirements
Conducts periodic audits of the projects, subcontractors, suppliers, departments, and employees to ensure compliance with requirements.
Assists in identifying and recruiting disadvantaged, small and minority business enterprises subcontractors and suppliers.
Represents company with various governmental agencies
Coordinates and participates in outreach programs to develop disadvantaged, small and minority business enterprises assistance
Compose memos, letters, and research and create presentations as directed
Ad hoc assignments/reports
Must carry out job duties while maintaining the LANE values
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Business or Public Administration or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in DOT DBE compliance
Knowledge in DBE requirements, programs, policies, and procedures
Experience in the construction industry preferred
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
