BLUvera Overview

BLUvera, Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate, utilizes advanced design, engineering, 3D modeling, and manufacturing to deliver a safer, faster, and more predictable experience to the built environment. By utilizing DfMA principles (design for manufacturing and assembly), BLUvera leverages technology in the manufacture and fabrication of off-site construction products- enabling our customers to realize the schedule and cost savings that the industrialized process creates. Our aim is to transform the way we build things, turning digital models into precision specified building components, not just by being at the leading edge of industry disruption, but creating it!

The Big Picture:

BLUvera is looking for the ideal candidate to lead the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) implementation and advancement of DfMA principles. This role will support the digital integration of product design, supply chain management, and manufacturing for various markets, such as Hospitality and Data Centers.

The BLUvera Integrated Construction Manager will oversee bill-of-material and assembly instruction development from model-based product design in direct support of plant operations. This position must have the technical ability to author and develop system assemblies, collaborate with design partners and fabrication production teams, and maintain a digital catalog of product types. The BLUvera Integrated Construction Manager is the digitization process expert among our manufacturing and fabrication teams.
