SUMMARY
The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and sustaining our IT Operations Applications and Mobile Applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Requirement gathering, documentation, exploring existing features for a good fit and implementing new features and enhancements.
- Provide technical resource for all third party and custom-built Operations Applications and integrations from and to Oracle
- Responsible for maintaining and developing applications, supporting applications, upgrading applications, and keeping the system functional 24/7.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tier 2 issues on Operations Applications, Mobile Applications, related hardware, and software in a timely manner.
- Resolve issues utilizing excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, technical thinking/reasoning skills.
- Coordinate with Vendor teams to report Bugs and enhancements as requested by the User community.
- Identify potential system problems and escalate to other departments as necessary for resolution.
- Communicate effectively with customers to manage expectations on response time.
- Identify and resolve issues by recommending modifications to business processes.
- Create and maintain Documentation of functional specifications, integration specs and end user requirements.
- Coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing.
- Train Support specialists on new applications or applications changes in a classroom setting or over the shoulder review.
- Test software upgrades, applications enhancements before rollout to the team and provide test documents for the same.
- Interface with the end users to identify potential needs/opportunities for Software solutions.
- Provide customers with attentive, courteous, and informative service.
- Create review and maintain detailed process flows, future state design, and functional design documents for the functional area supported.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an IT systems engineer with software applications similar to Plan Grid, scheduling tools, Bluebeam, Mobile Applications etc.
- Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
