Allan Myers seeks an IT Support/Adminsitrator. This role is responsible for using knowledge of software programs and business processes to help our company maximize technology implementations and ultimately support our users. To excel in this position, you should be an experienced professional with strong creativity and curiosity toward business processes. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their problem-solving and critical thinking on each and every assignment, employ their verbal and written communication skills to influence outcomes and bring their tenacity and drive to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Provide direct user support for issues escalated from internal and external service teams including those escalated outside of standard business hours.
  • Support technology deployments in the field and assist in providing end user training on proper use of the technology.
  • Conduct site visits to maintain a current level of understanding of how our users are leveraging technology to support their business process. During these visits address any technology needs at these sites including technology swaps, cleanup, troubleshooting and training.
  • Assist users with identifying opportunities to streamline existing work processes by taking advantage of additional existing system functionality.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Business or Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA IT Fundamentals & CompTIA A+ preferred, others such as Project +, Network+, and Cloud+ are a plus
  • 0 - 3 years related experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of the Construction or Materials Productions industries is a plus.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must possess working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Products, Mobile platforms, server and client architecture, network communication, enterprise backup and recovery process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without direct oversight
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Construction Enterprise/Cost Accounting systems a plus.
  • ProfessionalCertifications such as, CompTIA IT Fundamentals & CompTIA A+ are preferred, others such asProject +and Cloud+ are a plus
