Job Description Summary

We are looking for a dedicated IT SR Project Manager to join our IT PMO team. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include managing key business projects, coordination, and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, oversee all aspects of projects, monitor, and summarize progress of projects, and prepare project status reports. The successful candidate will work directly with business team members and business analysts to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

What Youll Do:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Lead and direct the work of other team members
  • Meet with product owners to create build and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Hosts Daily Stand-up Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, and Retrospectives
  • Work with Product Owners, Product Directors, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos
  • Align with product owner and product director on backlog management, sprint capacity, and sprint delivery ratios.

Sound Like You?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field preferred
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Agile certification (SAFe preferred)
  • Experience with agile management tools (Jira, confluence, MSFT ADO, Rally, etc.)
  • A minimum of three years of experience in managing agile projects
  • Familiar with CRM/CMS/ERP/HRIS enterprise solutions
  • Experience with Six Sigma a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Robust written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Champion for change and supporting advanced agile concepts
  • Experience with lean portfolio management
  • Sound business acumen

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
  • Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
