WSP USA is an internationally recognized leader in containment laboratory design, proven by more than two decades of designing the world’s most advanced facilities. We are seeking an Asst Consultant,  Laboratory Design Architect (Temporary Position) for our Atlanta, GA office.
WSP USA works closely with architects and owners internationally on large, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and energy performance. We offer an unparalleled and unprecedented range of services developed by a team that is dedicated to the design and operation of containment and biomedical science facilities. WSP’s Science & Technology office is the hub of our containment experience, providing single-focused expertise in programming, planning, architectural and engineering services.

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Asst Consultant, Laboratory Planner/Project Architect (Temporary Position)for our Atlanta (Zonolite Rd)  office to work under the direction of Project Directors in cooperation with the project team to develop high quality design on time and on budget.  Note, this is a temporary position (approximatey 90 days in duration).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Generate architectural and lab planning design concepts and presentations.
  • Document architectural plans elevations, sections, details and schedules using REVIT and other BIM software
  • Coordinate work with lab planning team, MEP and structural engineers. 
  • Function as a Designer to the extent necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 1-3 years of professional relevant working experience.
  • Proficient REVIT and AutoCAD skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  •  Experience with Management of REVIT models and the coordination of deliverables
  •  LEED or WELL accreditation
  •  US Citizen for work on Federal projects
