Job Description Summary

As a Land Coordinator working for Taylor Morrison you will provide administrative and coordination support to the Land department, work with Land department staff to assist with timely delivery of projects by preparing and administering contracts, tracking and processing invoices, maintaining project files, and preparing project binders; and coordinate with all departments to assist in the setup of new communities including processing of Department of Real Estate, Homeowners Associations, and lender paperwork and applications.

We trust that as a Land Coordinator you will: (responsibilities)

  • Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Assist in the Vendor Setup process
  • Track vendor insurance status set up vendor account on EBIX website
  • Assist in the Authorization of Work based off a proposal for services
  • Track and process invoices against Approved Authorizations (proposal for services)
  • Assist in bid process and prepare bid spreads
  • Assist in the PIC budget preparation process for PIC approval
  • Assist in the creation of Portfolio Investment Committee NAIC binders
  • Assist with the tracking of PIC approved project budgets and schedules through the handoff to the Land Development Team.
  • Prepare and review Land Acquisition/Forward Planning approved PIC budgets on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide administrative support of Land Development and Forward Planning staff as required
  • Organize and maintain detailed electronic and paper files for all land acquisition and forward planning and entitlement PIC Budgets.
  • Prepare weekly reports and distribution to Division management and corporate office as requested.
  • Review and process HOA formation and function paperwork
  • Assist with establishment of new projects
  • Assist with the tracking of project budgets and schedules
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • At least 2+ years work-related experience OR AA degree required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Power Point
  • Extremely proficient in Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve day-to-day office activities
  • Experience in professional environment dealing with various levels of management and external contacts is required
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity
  • Action and results oriented
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.
