*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a*_Land Development Amenity Project Manager_*. The right candidate will be responsible for the construction and/or installation of amenities in a new community. Amenities include entrance features, community fencing, swimming pools, basketball courts, tot lots, walking trails and others that would make the community appealing to the target market.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Review all due diligence property documents and reports
* Ensure amenity designs and documents comply with DRH standards and notify management of concerns and potential solutions
* Participates in due diligence process and ensures amenity work is completed prior to expiration of contingency period
* Participates in the collaboration of information sharing and work distribution with land development, acquisitions, construction and the sales/marketing teams
* Perform amenity site inspections to identify project status, progress and risk management
* Maintain amenity budgets and development schedules
* Coordinates and communicates with primary engineer and other primary consultants
* Coordinates with agencies for permitting, insurance, assurance and closeout requirements for amenity transfer to HOA
* Inspect all amenity projects weekly. Establish contact with the project engineer once a week. Progress should be noted and deficiencies found during the construction process.
* Experience in commercial building.
* Knowledge of commercial building codes and regulatory guidelines.
*Education and/or Experience*
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Other Qualifications*
Must have a vehicle, a valid drivers license and be willing to travel.
