WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Highway Civil Engineer for our Tamuning, Guam office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinates design teams
  • Manage design tasks and identify changes and risks
  • Responsible for coordination with other design disciplines, including structures, hydraulics/drainage, traffic, utilities, right-of-way, and environmental.
  • Lead and/or oversee the preparation of final design plans, cost estimates and special provisions
  • Develop memorandums and other written technical documents.
  • Perform complex design tasks and drawings using computer-aided design (CADD) related to the development of transportation projects in AutoCAD Civil 3d and MicroStation Inroads.
  • Assist in Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing the work of staff-level Engineers
  • Maintain communications with clients and support business development pursuits
  • Determine client requirements and contribute to the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Completing ad hoc projects as needs arise
