Parsons seeks an experienced lead Recruiter to support our Critical Infrastructure recruiting efforts in North America. The successful candidate will have a 'cannot fail attitude' that shines through while executing full cycle recruiting assignments. Your strong collaboration skills and ability to influence hiring decisions, will prove beneficial when driving the hiring in this highly competitive marketspace. You will assist the Recruiting Director with leading large recruitment programs, participate in Talent Acquisition and/or Corporate projects, and coordinate activities across the markets, of the dedicated recruiters.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Recruiting Director with assigning requisitions, managing large scale staffing efforts, and reporting analytics to Critical Infrastructure management.

  • Coordinate strategic meetings with recruiters and hiring managers, to address staffing challenges. Work closely with hiring managers and recruiters to identify new channels to source qualified professionals to fill positions in a timely manner.

  • Proactively solicit, evaluate, and present viable candidates to meet current and future staffing needs. Work with recruiters and hiring managers to develop Talent pools for strategic placement.

  • Consistently source and deliver candidates with difficult/critical skill sets.

  • Create an atmosphere of trust and build solid relationships with managers through positive performance on key positions.

  • Build relationships with key professional, technical, and management talent throughout the region.

  • Gather marketplace data to assist hiring managers with candidate selection and recruiting strategies.

  • Attend Job Fairs, networking events, and participate large scale recruiting efforts as needed.

  • Maintain accurate record of recruiting activities in the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Work with Hiring Managers and Talent Managers to develop job offers and extend offers after receiving required approvals.

  • Process candidates through Pre-employment screening.

  • Communicate effectively with Hiring Managers, Talent Management, and the Recruiting Director on the status of the assigned searches.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 8+ years of technical recruiting experience within the critical infrastructure engineering and construction industry.

  • Must have a "consultative" approach with hiring managers with the ability to provide alternative sourcing solutions, and move candidates to "yes" to close deals

  • Must have experience recruiting multi-disciplined Engineers, Scientists, Project Managers, and Construction professionals at all levels.

  • Experience hiring in one or more of the following is required: Roadway design, Bridge design, Rail/Transit Systems, Aviation, Water/Wastewater, Smart Mobility, Self-Perform Horizontal Construction and/or Smart Vehicle Solutions. Candidates that have worked in more than one of these markets is preferred.

  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to collect data, run reports from data and present data in a weekly staffing meeting.

  • Experience with Workday preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and analytic skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.
