Learning \u0026 Development Coordinator

The Middlesex Corporation is looking for a talented Learning \u0026 Development Coordinator (L\u0026D) whose drive for learning and determination for continuous improvement aligns with our ambitious, fast-growing, and transforming company. The L\u0026D Coordinator will provide centralized support to the L\u0026D Team and be responsible for the registration, scheduling, tracking, and reporting processes of all training courses and programs organized within the organization.

The coordinator must demonstrate outstanding communication skills with Team Members, with management at all levels, and with external training vendors, as necessary. The coordinator also manages the feedback provided by participants and informs the L\u0026D Team and other key stakeholders about results so that potential improvements are implemented.

Reports To: L\u0026D Manager

Status: Full Time, Salary

  • Curriculum Management:
    • Support L\u0026D team with learner needs analysis, curriculum design, materials development, and creating communications as well support program management for delivery of content
    • Support planning \u0026 execution of Training Program milestones
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders related to L\u0026D projects
    • Provide consultative expertise to identify, research, and resolve complex problems
    • Prepare presentations and reports to support stakeholder engagement
  • Operations Management:
    • Works across departments to coordinate \u0026 schedule training programs in any geography with the appropriate venue, supplies, equipment, materials, catering etc.
    • Liaise with and coordinate logistics with external vendors
    • Creates \u0026 updates communications for training events \u0026 programs
    • Keeps accurate records of training programs, materials, participant™s attendance \u0026 feedback
    • Updates \u0026 supplies information for creating the learning calendar
    • Manages the records of all training programs and external training vendors


  • Bachelor€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related setting (event coordination/planning, adult learning, teaching role, etc.)
  • Previous experience with HRIS and Learning Management Systems is preferred
  • Project Coordination experience is preferred
  • The ability to assess training needs, translate job requirements into training requirements, and organize instructional material both during development and in presentations
