Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:

The main function of the Logistics Coordinator is to support Yard Superintendent(s) and Logistics Manager with coordination and tracking of Trucking, Deliveries, Schedule, and Yard Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value “ Safety, first in everything we do.
  • Primary contact for all subcontractors and vendors (Trucking and Site Services)
  • Coordinate with Superintendent to put together daily trucking schedule
  • Coordinate with Superintendent to plan yard projects and activities
  • Order Materials and ST\u0026S for Yard Support Crews as needed
  • Prepare workplans for yard projects and activities
  • Maintain Site Service Maps of Jobsite, Laydown Area Maps, and Material Inventories
  • Update Logistics schedule weekly with input from Yard superintendent and Logistics Manager
  • Track Time and Materials on any PCO work (Subs and internal)
  • Interface with vendors and subcontractors including scheduling of activities, billings, and back charges
  • Work with Project Engineer to track costs, quantities, and production
  • Input daily timecards for all Site Support Crews
  • Collect and scan all delivery tickets and correspondence
  • Supervise the purchase and handling of office supplies


Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree or equivalent work experience desired
  • Construction experience preferred but not necessary
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office
  • Maintain good health status and be able to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist.

Necessary Attributes:

  • Must be highly detail-oriented.
  • High level of organization.
  • Ability to work as part of team with shifting priorities and schedules.
  • Ability to meet deadlines working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, InDesign and other applicable software programs.
  • Superior communication (written and verbal), grammar and editing skills.
  • Strong commitment to success of all.
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate the upmost professionalism in how you represent yourself.
  • Show quality in everything you do.
  • Lead with integrity while producing high quality work.
