Mortenson is seeking an experienced Market Executive responsible for providing overall management for business development, successful customer relations and operational direction for the semiconductor/advanced technology markets. Ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role.

In partnership with leaders, develop and execute strategy to grow business within the semiconductor/advanced technology markets

*Understand market priorities, insights, influences, and potential disruptors
*Strategically analyze market trends and develop plan for understanding customers and winning work

Lead business development within the semiconductor/advanced technology markets in partnership with others (VP/GM, BD leader, Market Strategy leader)

*Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners including, but not limited to: targeted customers, design professionals, partner companies, community leaders, utilities, equipment manufacturers, and engineering firms
*Become familiar with customers project estimates to facilitate discussion with customer

Establish and maintain successful customer and/or community relationships

*Conduct key customer service visits throughout the project, from pre-construction client surveys to close-out, ensuring that you are sticking to project commitments and resolving any issues in a timely manner
*Preview proposals before submission and participate in Request for Proposal process
*Act as primary customer contact for all assigned projects
*Maintain customer relationships to be aware of current and future projects
*Support business development initiatives in establishing and building on client relationships

Provide oversight and accountability for large semiconductor/advanced technology project(s)

*Handle contract administration including, but not limited to terms, change requests, invoices, and progress payments, etc.
*Establish and implement project objective and procedures
*Develop conceptual, preconstruction and construction phase project schedules and cost estimates leveraging existing semiconductor industry knowledge and experience
*Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing, ensuring delivery of a profitable project.

Provide leadership to project team

*Review work of Senior Project Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) assigned to projects
*Mentor and lead team members, establishing and fostering team environment
*Develop team members for future career consideration and training opportunities

*Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
*Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
*Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
*Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.
*Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
*Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
*Ability to travel up to 100%
*Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended use Education and experience requirements:

*Bachelors degree in Construction, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
*Minimum 10 years experience in construction management overseeing large semiconductor/microelectronics fabrication facility projects ($50M+) utilizing Design-Build/EPC/CMAR project delivery method
*Experience taking conceptual design through construction, working with internal and external partners
*Current drivers license
