Job Description Summary

As a Corporate Strategic Marketing Manager working for Taylor Morrison you will support the strategic initiative work of Taylor Morrison especially as it relates to market research, market intelligence, and customer segmentation. General areas of emphasis may include: strategic planning, presentation preparation for Senior Management, strategic marketing initiatives, competitive intelligence work, consumer-focused initiatives (e.g., segmentation definitions and modeling, MPC launch analyses), and assisting with large acquisition submissions for the Companys Investment Committee. Actionable insights will be presented to various stakeholders as a consumer voice is communicated as strategic initiatives are contemplated.

Job Details

We trust that as a Corporate Strategic Marketing Manager you will: (responsibilities)

  • Able to understand, interpret and report on real estate and economic data
  • Ability to understand the market trends and analysis particular to our sites and future sites
  • Ability to analyze resale market trends and competition - understanding of the competitive frame work and the implications on pricing, features, home type, buyer type
  • Assist in all phases of primary qualitative research (surveys, focus group moderation, etc.)
  • To provide weekly and monthly reporting on key business metrics
  • To support the implementation and evaluation of research studies
  • Provide ad hoc research and analysis as requested
  • Assist in the development and implementation of annual research plans to monitor and measure key business metrics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of research studies to support new business opportunities
  • Assist with the land purchase exercise process
  • Other duties as assigned

About you:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics or other related field or equal marketing experience
  • Homebuilding experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • 2 years experience working in an analytical/reporting capacity and having implemented successful programs, 5 years preferred
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of primary consumer research and general real estate market research
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SPSS and/or Qualtrics Knowledge a plus
  • Superior oral and written communications skills

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
  • Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
