Mortenson is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to master the customer journey and assist with executing strategic marketing initiatives that bolster the business. From generating purposeful brand awareness to capitalizing on high-potential marketing opportunities, this role provides an opportunity for a self-starting and forward-thinking candidate to become an integral part of the Seattle Operating Group's (OG) success and future. The role will primarily reinforce the growth and development of new business via support of ongoing sales efforts and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that improve client experience and proactively seek future opportunities. In this role, you'll work directly with our business development, project executive, and OG leadership teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to remain inventive, proactive, and flexible while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality. High levels of organization and communication skills are key due to the rapidly evolving nature of our industry and interaction with key stakeholders on numerous teams.
The hourly compensation range for this role is $26.59 - $35.91 (The actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL ' 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR ' 10%, Washington, D.C. ' 12.5%)
Hourly pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
The Marketing Coordinator will be part of our Seattle Business Development & Marketing Team, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
*4-year degree in Marketing, Communications Business, English, Journalism, or a related field
*Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing
*B2B experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, architecture, or adjacent service industry
*Strong business writing, presentation, and communication skills with keen attention to detail
*Ability to work both within a team dynamic and independently while showing initiative and desire to grow
*Experience in Adobe Creative Suite e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
*Prior CRM Experience (Salesforce preferred)
*Ability to conceptualize big-picture goals while working hands-on to execute and solve problems
*Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling simultaneous projects
*Experience in the activities, programs, and expectations as outlined above

Support new business acquisition by responding to customer Requests for Proposals / Qualifications, including:
*Ensure accuracy and timeliness of proposal content
*Develop high-quality proposal and presentation content i.e., technical scope, resumes, staff and company qualifications, project profiles
*Support pursuit team in preparation for interviews and customer meetings
*Gather and verify relevant project information and case stories, and maintain a library of historical marketing records including in Salesforce
*Create and edit external marketing and communications collateral which may include presentations, brochures, thought leadership, website content, media releases, email campaigns and print mailings, and social media deliverables
*Generate and edit communication content for internal events, meetings, announcements, and newsletters
*Research and prepare a project, team member, and company awards submissions
*Update and maintain content on external webpage via Sitecore following established SEO best practices
*Coordinate, gather and maintain a database of marketing collateral including but not limited to sales collateral, professional photos of projects, team members, and events material
*Support the Mortenson brand and project teams via the implementation of consistent job site branding standards and client engagement opportunities
*Contribute and assist to the execution of strategic marketing goals and initiatives that pro-actively support future sales funnel efforts and purposeful brand awareness
