Job Description Summary

As a Model Branding Senior Manager working for Taylor Morrison you will be focusing on a holistic approach to model home design across multiple divisions that ensures our Taylor Morrison brand is represented and our homeowners needs are reflected in the overall design. This role is focused on developing and executing the operational strategic vision, mission and goals for Taylor Morrison model homes, mindful of design aesthetics and financial benefits. This will be accomplished by up-holding and protecting the brand integrity of TM brand through the delivery of model homes based on our model home standards and financial budgeting guidelines.

What Youll Do

  • Help identify a merchandising design firm that will partner with Taylor Morrison to deliver a model based on our Taylor Morrison model standards.
  • Work with the designated merchandising company to ensure the model homes are designed around the Taylor Morrison model standards and reflect the community and buyer persona.
  • Use the model home toolkit and budget guide to plan model homes.
  • Collaborate with division purchasing, construction and sales leaders to ensure a collective and aligned process and execution.
  • Manage model timelines and communicate timeline meetings throughout the model build process to division and corporate model team.
  • Collaborate within division to drive model home process from initial permitting to grand opening.
  • Create Model Home Binders for Construction Team.
  • Designated notetaker during model timeline meetings, communicate all changes and track all notes.
  • Manage/Update all documents and store in model home onedrive
  • Assist the architecture team selecting exterior color palettes for communities and elevations.
  • Member of the design studio round table to product feedback on product lineups and offerings.
  • Input all selections into SF/NSE for all model home selections.
  • Assist and consult to architecture and land teams on amenity merchandising, colors, and interior finishes.
  • Integral part of the product development team providing creative feedback on new plans.
  • Provide model feature book/Share model link showcasing interior and designer finishes to use as reference guide and resource for CSM and Design Studio
  • Coordinate sales walk with design firm and community team to share model inspiration and buyer profile
  • Keep track of model inventory file from design firm to ensure models can be reused
  • Coordinate with marketing team for photography of model homes
  • Manage model conversion process:
    • Office and Marketing Supplies
    • Sales Office
    • Move/Store furniture to be used for future models
    • Setup Auction if necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
