*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an _*Multifamily-Office Assistant*_in the Main Office Department. The Office Assistant will work alongside and support the efforts of construction and development management, as well as perform general office administrative duties.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Provide administrative support to team members, which includes scheduling, meeting coordination, material preparation, data entry, making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and other general administrative tasks
* Monitor and maintain proper level of supplies for office and breakroom
* Resolve office-related issues and respond to requests
* Provide general support to visitors
* Coordinate with the IT department on all required equipment
* Answer and direct phone calls; prepare mailings and packages for delivery
* Assist with organizational and community events, up to and including set up, tear down, and other administrative duties as needed
* Serve as primary liaison to property management and engineers
* Assist in planning and implementing event planning as required
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company



*Education and/or Experience*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Three or more years of experience in administrative roles
* Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
* Ability to problem-solve issues
* Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks with consistent follow through
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Proactive, flexible and responsive
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred

Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment a plus
