*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an National Facilities Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for managing the current and future office space needs of all DHIFS locations including lease coordination, space planning, and overseeing office moves and relocations. Position must effectively communicate with DHIFS management and national tenant representative to secure office space needs while minimizing expenditures as appropriate. In addition, role will oversee material vendor relationships including shipping, communications, security, and maintenance.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Effectively communicate with DHIFS managers to determine current and future space and design needs
* Work with Corporate National Tennant Rep/Broker to locate space, negotiate, review and execute DHIFS leases
* Properly manage expectations on timing of projects and communicate status of office setups, moves, and relocations as appropriate to senior management
* Ensure all space related invoices are processed, reviewed and paid in a timely manner
* Manage and set priorities for the Facilities Team as appropriate
* Pursue regular Requests for Proposals for key services from various vendors
* Cooperate as necessary with DHIFS Facility Project Teams (Builder, Landlord, IT staff and Field) to coordinate building moves and relocations
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

*Supervisory Responsibilities*

Directly manages two or more employees in the Administration Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.




*Education and/or Experience*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Six to eight years related experience and/or training
* Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
* Ability to work well within a team
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
* Prior commercial management experience a plus
