WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Environmental Manager (NEPA Assignment Coordinator) for our Sacramento, CA office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Experience in achieving environmental clearances with the USDOT, other federal and state agencies as the environmental project manager.
  • The Senior Environmental Manager will work closely with the Authority and environmental program managers to provide assistance with environmental compliance and documentation expertise for a fast-paced, high-speed rail project.
  • The Senior Environmental Manager partners with regional project delivery teams including project managers, environmental task managers and outreach managers to provide for informed project decisions and facilitate quality environmental document delivery with consistency in approach across the overall HSR program.
  • The Senior Environmental Manager is responsible for NEPA document review, comment and approval, prior to recommending its compliance with NEPA and other related environmental laws and guidelines.
  • The Senior Environmental Manager will be assigned to a geographic region of the program to execute the FRA's responsibilities as defined in the Authority's NEPA Assignment Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
