The Maritime Division is part of the Transportation and Infrastructure Group and has approximately 90 team members domestically and 200 worldwide who collaborate on major projects worldwide.  This dynamic team provides a full range of services to port and marine terminal operators, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, master planning, design, construction management, financial analysis and planning, environmental studies, permitting, operations planning, coastal engineering and facility maintenance/asset management.

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Marine Senior Supervising Engineerfor our Boston, Massachusetts  office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with regional clients and teaming partners
  • Prepare qualifications packages and proposals
  • Work with and help develop less experienced engineers in broader engineering activities
  • Complete independent assignments, which call for an application of specialized professional expertise
  • Determine client requirements and develops specifications, instruction, and makes appropriate recommendations
  • Ensures that production of specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements
  • May participate in major segments of a project
  • Assist with the planning, schedule, coordination and oversight of work of lower-level engineers
  • Prepare basic drawings and perform calculations in support of broader engineer activities
  • Prepare technical studies and reports
  • Preparation of schedules and cost estimates for marine projects
  • Assist with inspection and design which requires work both in field and office settings
  • Review vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
