*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an*_Office Administrator_*. The right candidate will support Vidler Water Company offices by coordinating accounting and office management requirements necessary to meet division goals.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Process money requests, deposits and releases, compile backup for check/cash deposits, scan all billings to Regional Processing Center, and mail out disbursements
* Prepare and update weekly contracts status report
* Support the water resource staff performing project management
* Organize and maintain daily correspondence
* Process expense reports, assist with travel coordination and reservations
* Distribute mail to appropriate staff and invoices to the appropriate project managers
* Obtain documentation from new vendors for vendor set-up
* Code office invoices with appropriate project numbers (GL Code)
* Maintain all Secretary of State business licenses and Department of Motor Vehicle renewals and filings
* Order all office supplies and maintain inventory
* Maintain Vidler contact files
* Manage files, archives and storage of water files
* General office administration
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
* Ability to work overtime
* Ability to travel overnight
*Education and/or Experience*
* Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
* Three to five years related experience in Office Management
* Strong organizational skills
* Possess superb interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email
* Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
* The noise level is generally moderate
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Basic accounting knowledge a plus
* JD Edwards experience a plus
