WSP is currently initiating a search for a Office Assistant (Construction) for our Coxsackie Field Office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance to Client Project Manager as directed
  • Taking Phone Messages
  • Tracking Gate Clearances and Background Checks
  • Attending construction meetings/producing meeting minutes and project health assessments
  • Draft correspondence for review
  • Tracking office supplies, Keeping Inventory, Scheduling Meetings.
  • Processing - Distributing Field Orders
  • Maintains Construction Project Files
  • Recieves and Sends Internal Correspondence
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of administrative experience to include construction and some accounting experience
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be able to work from 7am-3:30pm (on site).
  • Must be flexible to work off normal hour for support of emergency responses (rare occasion).
  • Experience with computers, word, excel, Bluebeam, outlook.
  • Ability of drafting business letters. Ability to maintain files.
  • Applicant may be required to pass a criminal background check, the office is outside the perimeter fence of a maximum security prison.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivated and eager to learn.
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct.
  • Proven ability to adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • This hire will be contingent upon client selection and successful background check.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request. " should be included as a basic qualification.
