Ready to put your assistant and clerical skills to work with departments and teams that change the fabric of our community? Would you enjoy assisting top level department managers helping to keep projects running on task? Parsons is now hiring an Office Coordinator for our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you'd be responsible for providing a professional, welcoming presence and oversight to all daily activities in the common office space.


  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered in a timely, professional manner and routed to the appropriate recipient(s). Must be able to demonstrate level-headed, composure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Welcome visitors, discerns the reason for their visit and ensures their needs are met in a professional, engaging manner.
  • Assign and retrieve guest badges for visitors; following appropriate security protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance in lobby, conference room and kitchen; coordinate with the facilities department to address any maintenance needs.
  • Purchase kitchen and office supplies.
  • Assist with event planning for corporate functions such as holiday parties, picnics, happy hours, etc.
  • Assist with administrative duties as needed.


  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a US government issued security clearance.
  • Associates Degree.
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum 5 yrs of administrative experience with multiple team members.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to customer service and ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
