Office Management/Staff Officer

Position Overview:

The primary duties for the Office Management/Staff Officer are to provide subject matter expertise to the Service Performance Office (TOP) as Office Management and Staff Officer Support.

Responsibilities:

  • The Contractor shall provide subject matter expertise in providing recommendations and influencing status updates presented to the weekly SIOB by tracking activities and submitting draft recommendations to the project managers of the Operations Control Office (TOC) and the Service Performance Office (TOP).
  • The Contractor shall assist the Secure Operations Group Offices management by ensuring official taskers, Key Component (KC) Weekly Activity Reports and ad hoc action/initiatives are completed and submitted on time.
  • Assist the Secure Operations Group Offices in coordinating required preparation for recurring meetings; this includes Staff Meetings, Division Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Town halls.
  • Assist the Secure Operations Group Offices by assuring assigned tasks for the CIO-T current Fiscal Year Action Plan Tracker are accurate and updated in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must posses an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience executing and completing rapid turn-around and short-suspense tasks.
  • Experience working on Intelligence Community or Department of Defense offices/programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3-6 years' experience within a branch executive office or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with continuous service / process improvement.
  • Experience on government systems (e.g. Defense Travel Systems (DTS), NGA Central Electronic Systems (NCERTS), Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS), NGA Management Execution Tracker System (MET)).
  • Effective management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in planning and leading sub-tasks/projects.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense offices and programs

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
