As a foreperson of our production team, you will have the opportunity to work in an indoor facility assembling and fabricating metal products and will play a vital part in ensuring that BLUvera meets the highest quality and safety standards.

*High school diploma or GED preferred
*Leadership experience required
*Minimum of five years of related experience Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
*Ability to picture solid objects from drawings or diagrams
*Some ability to read plans
*Ability to operate equipment such as table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection equipment, rigging, and form systems
*Strong teamwork orientation
*Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
*Detail orientation
*Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
*Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs. will be done with the assistance of another team member or equipment.

*Examine blueprints to determine the dimensions of the structure
*Lay out floor plan and cabinetwork using tape, framing square, and calipers
*Select materials and structural units, such as lumber, prefabricated doors, cabinets of wood or plastic, and paneling, and inspects them to ensure conformance with provisions of building code and local ordinance
*Determine the sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly, and erection of the structure
*Assign workers to such tasks as cutting material to size, building concrete forms, erecting wooden framework, and laying flooring
*Inspect work performed by subcontractors including ductwork, wiring, and pipe installations, to ensure conformance with specifications
*Install doors, builds stairs, and lays hardwood floors
*Shooting grades and elevations
*Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect all prefabricated materials
*Concrete and rough carpentry
*Finish carpentry, doors, and hardware 1. Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware 2. Finish carpentry: install toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, toilet partitions, lockers, upper cabinets, lower cabinets, countertops, wall paneling systems, coffered ceiling systems, and running trim
*Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
*Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
