WSP is currently initiating a search for a Program Change Support to be based at our Sacramento, CA program office.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Under the general direction of the Authority Supervising Transportation Engineer, this position provides flexible support to the Program Change Management Section as directed
  • Assist in the development and updates of change and contingency management policies, plans, procedures, and workflows
  • Support to continuous improvement of program change management
  • Receive, analyze and process submitted Change Orders
  • Prepare various reports to management and third party

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial experience in the heavy civil engineering industry
  • Bachelors Degree; preffered in the field of construction, engineering or document administration
  • Knowledge of typical contracting and budgeting procedures; principles of project and program management; typical governance mechanisms; technical skills such as business cases and principles of risk assessment
  • Excercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Planning, Urban Planning; Licensed Professional Planner
  • Forensic document analysis, construction cost data analysis and work productivity analyses
  • Experience in design build contracting
