WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Engineer for our Baltimore office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and analysis of operational and maintenance (O&M) program data
  • Preparing capital improvement projects
  • Management of water and wastewater construction designs
  • Preparation of asset management plans
  • Development of business case and funding evaluations for capital projects

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering or relevant field.
  • 3 - 5 years water or wastewater construction design experience
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Familiarity with wastewater conveyance systems and facilities
  • Capable of reviewing and analyzing data
  • Create digital mapping using various software platforms
  • Demonstrate proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with sewer system condition assessment and rehabilitation technologies
  • Water or sewer construction design experience
  • Data and information systems management experience
  • Experience developing training programs
  • Experience programming algorithms using software packages such as R and Python
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL and Access
