Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive to be Responsible for providing overall management for large semiconductor/advanced technology projects delivered via design-build, EPC, or other alternative delivery methods, leading the project team, and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work. Effective communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with high integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role.
Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships
Conduct essential customer service visits throughout the project, from pre-construction client surveys to close-out, ensuring that you are sticking to project commitments and resolving any issues in a timely manner
Preview proposals before submission and participate in Request for Proposal process
Act as primary customer contact for all assigned projects
Maintain customer relationships to be aware of current and future projects
Support business development initiatives in establishing and building on client relationships
Provide oversight and accountability for large semiconductor/advanced technology project(s)
Handle contract administration including, but not limited to terms, change requests, invoices, progress payments, etc.
Establish and implement project objectives and procedures
Develop conceptual, preconstruction, and construction phase project schedules and cost estimates leveraging existing semiconductor industry knowledge and experience
Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing, ensuring delivery of a profitable project.
Provide leadership to the project team
Review work of Senior Project Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) assigned to projects
Mentor and lead team members, establishing and fostering a team environment
Develop team members for future career consideration and training opportunities
Other duties as assigned
Provide high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members
Use the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision-making to assure project success
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage
Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
Basic understanding of construction law and accepted business practices
Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.
Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback
Ability to travel up to 100%

Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
Minimum 10 years experience in construction management overseeing large semiconductor/microelectronics fabrication facility projects ($50M+) utilizing Design-Build/EPC/CMAR project delivery method
Experience taking the conceptual design through construction, working with internal and external partners
Current driver's license
