Project Manager/Estimator

Overview:

Belden Construction, LLC is a 46-year-old family owned and operated construction company specializing in bridges, roads, excavation, water/sewer/storm water mains, pump stations, fields, concrete, utilities, and commercial buildings. Belden is a small to medium-sized company and takes great pride in their quality of work.

Belden Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Civil Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from beginning to end. The successful candidate must have experience with project management and estimating, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct all construction activities to meet project goals and objectives
• Create project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to budget and timeline
• Prepare cost estimates, analyze bids, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction process, including project coordination, scheduling, and quality control
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Vice President of Operations
•  Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction project management and estimating
• Proven ability to manage and deliver construction projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with bridges, roads, excavation, water/sewer/storm water mains, pump stations, fields, concrete, utilities, and commercial buildings is a plus
• Knowledge of job costs and field reporting is a plus
