kWMCE, is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. 
 
Project Manager
  • Understand the process of the design and construction process for mission critical facilities and be able to manage a team of engineers to complete the scope of work associated with the project
  • Understand the different aspects and technical requirements of mechanical, electrical, plumbing fire protection, fuel oil, telecommunication, security systems associated with mission critical facilities
  • Strong relationship building with Clients, contractors and other consultants
  • Be able to coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams internal and external on the project
  • Read and understand construction documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Perform contract review
  • Monitor all phases of project design and construction, maintain master project files
  • Document and track shop drawings, RFI, on site observations and punch list items
  • Manage scope and budgetary costs associated with scope of work
  • Work extensively with the project team (architects, engineers, general contractors, code consultants) in the development and execution of the construction plans
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Coordinate tasks and deliverables with design team associated with project schedule
  • Attend site meetings when required
  • Ensure that work is completed in conformity with design and Company requirements
  • Responsible for weekly progress reports
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working in high volume capacity
  • Solid decision-making skills based on changing conditions
  • Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere
  • Travel as required

Requirements

Requirements
  • 5-7 years in engineering or construction experience related to the design and construction of commercial, industrial or mission critical facilities
  • Experience working in high volume environment, managing multiple projects
  • Proficient with excel, word, and project
 
Preferred
  • Project Management, Engineering, or Construction Management degree
