*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an _*Regional Vice President-Property Management*_. The Regional Vice President of Property Management is responsible for driving value within their region through effective leadership, financial acumen, and innovation. Lead all aspects of operations to include, Leasing, Hiring, Resident Relations, Employee Retention, Financial Reporting, and Overall Market Awareness while driving the day-to-day operations of our Build-To-Rent and Multifamily communities.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Provide strategic leadership within their region and help build the DHIC Property Management division and culture
* Manage interdepartmental relationships
* Provide direction, supervision, and guidance to team members consistent with DHICs values and processes
* Actively recruit, hire, and develop personnel
* Partner with Senior Leadership and Division teams
* Develop strategies, action plans and set goals for meeting community and region targets
* Prepare annual operating and capital budgets
* Drive consistency of operations and identify best practices that can be used throughout DHIC
* Communicate with the executive team about community performance, opportunities, and wins
* Analyze and monitor market conditions to anticipate market changes or trends that could affect the performance of the community
* Create an excellent work environment for employees as well as residents and community goodwill
* Effectively communicate with various support teams
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company


*Supervisory Responsibilities*

Directly manages two or more employees in the Region Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.




*Education and/or Experience*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Minimum 8 years of industry-related experience
* 4 years of management experience
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced, ever growing environment
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence others
* Property Management Software experience
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge in Budgeting and Financial Management
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Bachelors degree preferred
* Multi-geographic experience preferred
* Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws a plus
* Lease-up and community disposition experience is a plus
