Manage remote and regional proposal teams and resources
Manage the proposal development process, including, scheduling, editing, writing, and overall content and production of final proposal packages
Manage and ensure the proposal document and commitments match the project requirements, means/methods chosen, and estimate
Interpret submittal requirements and prepare outlines, storyboards, and writing assignments for final responses
Conduct kickoff and brainstorm/strategy meetings and document reviews, including color team reviews
Interface with technical personnel and coordinate with subconsultants and joint venture partners
Create, accumulate, and maintain proposal resource materials including project profiles, resumes, photos, and general company narratives
Manage the development and implementation of enhancements to standardized processes, procedures, and workflows to facilitate successful proposal development
Carry out job duties while maintaining LANE values
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in English / Writing, Journalism or a related degree
15+ years of experience developing and leading technical proposal teams on major complex infrastructure: Hydro, Underground, Heavy Civil, Roadway, Rail, Tunneling, etc.
Must be able to manage all aspects of proposal development from advertisement through submission
Must have capacity to manage and delegate across multiple teams and concurrent proposal submissions
Familiarity and knowledge with RFQ/RFP processes
Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary
Strong interviewing and researching skills with the ability to transform interviews and research into clear and strong proposal content
Adobe InDesign and SharePoint experience preferred
