SUMMARY
The QA/QC Assistant and has the responsibility of implementing the SAP Program for Rosendin Electric as part of a “Quality Assurance Quality Control Program” (QAQC)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insure required testing and check-out is being done procedurally correct
Create SAP Books for all Rosendin jobs
When necessary schedule job site visits to assist field supervisors with the implementation of the SAP program
Provide assistance with the Commissioning on jobs where required (which could include job-site meetings)
Keep informed about industry trends and new technologies associated with meters and test equipment
Keep accurate records of calibration dates of the test equipment being used to apply the SAP program
Provide documentation when required to verify calibration date, type of test equipment, and test procedural information
Include all pertinent information for the implementation of the SAP program such as torque settings, megger voltages, type of testing required, wire type, wire size, lug type, motor information, transformer information, panel board, and switchboard information etc.
Create and implement time saving procedures, safety procedures, and company BEST PRACTICE methods to be used companywide to assist with the implementation and use of the SAP program
Maintain a demeanor that reflects Rosendin Electric’s commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement and respect for individuals
Maintain a comprehensive list of SAP procedures
Create and properly document new procedures as they are needed
Request for updates from Field Supervisors involved with implementation and use of the SAP program on their individual jobs
Communicate and interact with Pre-Planners to insure necessary information is being included on the Pre-Plan drawings for easy reference intended to assist the Field Supervisors with the Start-up and Commission of their jobs
Communicate and interact with the Pre-Plan Dept. Manager with a creation of a schedule of jobs that require a SAP program and list them according to their priority
Anticipate work load and adjust and manage time accordingly
Evaluate and implement improvements needed to increase KST Electrics profitability
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Has in depth knowledge and field experience in working on large commercial projects
Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills
Computer skills must include Microsoft Word, and Excel
Demonstrated expertise in the use of various test equipment required for Start-up and commissioning
Must be a self-starter and a problem solver
Must be capable of managing multiple tasks under time constraints and working effectively as a team player in a professional office environment
Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Familiarity with team-building techniques
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

Working Conditions:
Variable work environment; work is conducted both indoors and outdoors with varying environmental conditions
Up to several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle
Appearance at all times must represent Rosendin Electric image
Office may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Exposure to the environments of customer facilities
General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium
Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
