WSP USA is seeking a QAO Inspector in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties for the Purple Line, a 16-mile light rail line that is being led by the Maryland Transit Administration. The anticipated duration of this assignment will be two to three years.
In this role, you will report to a Resident Engineer and monitor the work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for transit rail, roadway, structure, and bridge construction work of moderate to considerable complexity.
  • Monitor the contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with their quality control plan and the contract terms and specifications.
  • Review and monitor the contractor’s plan of operation and advise the contractor of non-conformances.
  • Maintain and review comprehensive project records including daily diaries and quality assessment reports.
