The Quality Assurance Representative inspects the progress of new home construction in the pre-drywall stage and prior to closing to make sure that all products meet consistent standards.
Essential Job Requirements
- Knowledge of residential home building and residential inspections
- Ensuring that homes adhere to quality standards
- Preparing reports, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Create quality measurements to track progress
- Adhere to industry quality and safety standards
- Some travel from one location to another
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Analyze and investigate quality issues to ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
- Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final inspection so the products are up to company standards
- Work closely with the construction and sales team
- Performs other projects and related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
