*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an _Quality Control Auditor II_ in the Compliance Department. The right candidate will ensure that company produced loans are quality products in compliance with investors and guarantors guideline requirements.



*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned

* Meet department audit and reporting guidelines
* Perform a post funding loan analysis to ensure that the loan documents, origination, underwriting, and funding of loans were in accordance with company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations
* Determine if proper procedures were followed in the origination, underwriting, and funding of the loans
* Determine if the Underwriter correctly calculated and approved the loan in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Document findings to provide management with an accurate and detailed picture of the issue
* Provide input for decision-making to identify the root cause of problems identified within the audit
* Remain current with regulation changes from government/state agencies, as well as policy changes from agencies and investors and company policies and procedures
* Assigned loan files in the DHIM Quality Control Pre-Funding status audit to determine if proper procedures were followed in the origination, processing, and underwriting of the loans
* Maintain a knowledge of all underwriting guidelines
* Refer the appraisal for additional review, when appropriate
* Perform special audits in accordance with procedures, as assigned
* Perform Quality Control Pre-Funding Status Audits as assigned and directed by DHIM Quality Control Management
* Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company


*Education and/or Experience*
* Five to eight years of underwriting experience required
* Knowledge of or experience in mortgage loan processing and underwriting
* Must have FHA Direct Endorsement
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email



*Preferred Qualifications*
* Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university
* A combination of a DE and/or SAR, both are preferred
* Ability to accurately and efficiently process large volumes of data
* Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
